9/11 Patriot Day 2026
Join Operation Hero at Crandall Point Trailhead at Jordanelle Park Sept. 11 & 12, 2026 as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001 and honor Utah’s Fallen Service Members and First Responders.
Walk the approximately one-mile trail lined with signs representing those who served, sacrificed, and are forever remembered. Bring your family, walk at your own pace, and help us ensure their names and stories continue to be remembered.
Honor and Remember – America First Square – May 19-27, 2026
As Memorial Day approaches, America First Square outside Smiths Ballpark in South Jordan, Utah will transform into a quiet tribute to the men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States. From May 19–27, 2026, the square will be lined with yard signs, each one bearing the name of a fallen U.S. military service member from Utah.
Visitors passing through on their way to a Salt Lake Bees game are invited to slow down and take in the display. Walking among the signs offers a personal, grounding experience, a chance to honor and remember, and to carry a little more meaning into the rest of the day.
The display is free and open to the public throughout the week.
Honor and Remember – Ogden Union Station – May 22-25, 2026
From May 22–25, 2026, Ogden Union Station will be home to a boot display presented by Operation Hero. Each boot represents a Utahn who died in uniform since September 11, 2001, with many personalized by the families of those they honor.
Visitors are welcome to walk through, take in the display, and reflect on the lives it represents. Those inspired to give can learn more and donate at operationheroes.org.
